2008 Prizes
Now in its 35th year as the premier fishing event on a Great Lake, the Big Fish Bash is once again offering one of the biggest prize purses in the Midwest - $100,000 in cash and merchandise, split among 100 winners in 14 divisions, and through special events.
Daily Prizes
Daily prizes can be obtained at the Prize Display Booth in Festival Hall.
OFF-SHORE: Four (4) $50 cash prizes will be awarded daily to the heaviest fish in each of the four remaining species not included as a Featured Fish on a particular day. For example, on Opening Day, the Featured Fish is Chinook. The largest Chinook (Off-shore) will win the Featured Fish award ($100 cash prixe) and the heaviest fish in the four remaining species will win the $50 cash prize in each of the species categories.
ON-SHORE: Three (3) $25 cash prizes will be awarded daily to the heaviest fish in each of the three remaining species not included as a Featured Fish on a particular day. For example, on Opening Day, the Featured Fish is Chinook. The largest Chinook (On-shore) will win the Featured Fish award ($50 cash prize) and the heaviest fish in the three remaining species will win the $25 cash prize in each of the species categories.
